Kyulilits on Board
With the aim to inculcate values and nationalism, and at the same time promote the importance of hygiene to children, the LPU UNICEF Volunteers conducted an activity called “Kyulilits on Board” on September 1, 2012 at the Quadrangle (Center Stage), LPU.
This activity attended by thirty kids coming from Brgy. 655 is an activity done yearly by the said organization with the hope that through educating our children, we will have a better future. Aside from the lectures for the kids, there were also some games and activity such as coloring a book prepared for them. They also received kits containing brush and toothpaste to encourage them to always be mindful of their cleanliness. The organization hopes that this activity will serve as an inspiration for the kids to strive harder in reaching their dreams.

August 14, 2010. The LPU UNICEF had its first activity "Kyulilits On-Board: Introduction at the LPU Quadrangle. 20 kyulilits living near the LPU Gym were invited to have a fun Saturday with their ates and kuyas. The program started with a prayer and introduction. Kuya Jhodie and Ate Reina hosted the activity. It was followed by a special dance presentation of the 5 kids that surprised the ates and the kuyas. There were games such as Hep Hep Hooray with a twist (animal sounds were used rather than the usual), Find Your Mother Animal while blindfolded, and Dance Contests. The volunteers, headed by Joanne Bulic, made a short story entitled "Gamu-Gamo", telling the kyulilits to obey their parents for them not to get harmed. After, the volunteers gave the kyulilits their early meryenda. At 11:30, the volunteers accompanied the kyulilits on their way home.
